Education
Bodywork Touch Training
My bodywork education began with Transformational Bodywork at Pacific School of Massage in Gualala, CA. This approach uses bodywork as a method of accessing and processing emotional wounds held in the body. I have extensively studied Asian bodywork (Shiatsu, Tua Na, Jin Shin) at the Acupressure Institute in Berkeley, CA, along with Jin Shin Jyutsu. I received training in Sports Massage, Trigger Point, Deep Tissue, Foot Reflexology, Pre-Natal Massage, Cranialsacral therapy, and Visceral Manipulation through the San Francisco School of Massage, Kate Jordan Seminars, Milne Institute and Barral Institute respectively. I also trained through Advanced-Trainings for advanced knee issues, scoliosis, pelvis, lower back, disc issues, whiplash, headaches, and feet. From Mckinnon Body Therapy Center, I studied Infant Massage and strategies for working with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. I have also extensively studied the Morales Method of Structural Integration.
